David Tesone is currently IXL Center’s Director for Colombia. Co-coordinator of the Innovation Systems program, where he has been responsible for the results of the program, as well as the coordination of cities and teams, and has provided services to more than 800 companies in the last 8 years. He has carried out mentoring and consulting processes for more than 80 companies in different sectors.
He is a member of several boards of directors, has worked as Director of Innovation in Colombia for the largest firm of Vegetable Fats and Oils and in new innovation projects for the largest cosmetics company in Brazil. He has more than 12 years of experience in the successful introduction of new products to the market.
In addition, he has worked as a consultant for large Colombian universities, both public and private, in their development of the Innovation strategy to 2030. He has generated innovation capabilities in different companies in the oil and gas sector of upstream, midstream and downstream in Colombia and Peru
He has successfully built and sold three organizations, taught for +300 small and medium enterprises in Colombia, as GIMI CTP trained over 1000 people and co-inventored an infrared drying machine focused on Aloe Vera that is in the process of obtaining a patent and has been published in national and international newspapers.
David is a production engineer from the University of La Sabana, has an MBA from Hult International Business School. He has experience in domestic and international markets and is fluent in English.
